"American Edge"

From September 28 to November 24 at the “La Tinaia” Cultural Center on Via dei Macelli 1 in Sovicille, (Siena) there will be an opportunity to immerse oneself in “American Edge”, a photographic exhibition by Steve Shapiro that will transport visitors through intimate and powerful moments that marked American cultural and social history in the 20th century.

The exhibition is not just an exhibition, but an immersive experience that relives crucial moments through the lens of Steve Shapiro, the celebrated photojournalist who captured events that defined an era.

The chance to discover unique stories through iconic images - the deep connection between Robert F. Kennedy and the American people, behind-the-scenes glimpses of the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, and Robert De Niro on the set of “Taxi Driver” - and experience history through the shots of one of the greatest photographers of our time.
