Clanis Oleum - Going to oil mills and markets

Ten Municipalities are involved in the event Clanis Oleum, included in the national calendar of the initiative Andar per frantoi e mercatini, aimed at valorizing new production and organized by the National Association of Oil Cities.

From November 16 to December 15, a major celebration of first pressed oil hosted by some of the Oil Cities in the Val di Chiana area of Arezzo and Siena.

The Municipalities involved - Castiglion Fiorentino, Cetona, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Cortona, Lucignano, Monte San Savino, Montepulciano, Sinalunga, Torrita di Siena, Trequanda - will host a wide range of initiatives.

  Masterclass, conference, exhibition and sale of oils, photo exhibition and giant bruschetta

  Fair “Sul filo dell’olio”, with workshops
• Civitella Val di Chiana - November 16

  Dinner and first pressed oil tasting contest
• Civitella - December 8 
  Oil review and lunch of St. Cecilia

  Selection of local oils, tastings and oil festivals in the municipal area

  Award ceremony for best oil of the year at Rosini Theater
