That's why, if you love nature and want to immerse yourself in the Tuscan countryside, the Chianti Classico vineyards are the perfect place to surprise your guests with an open-air ceremony!
There are numerous farms to choose from for a wedding among the rows of vines. An ideal location especially in summer and autumn, surrounded by vines and bunches of Sangiovese grapes.

Chianti is a land of ancient castles, parish churches and abbeys. From the castle of Giovanni da Verrazzano, who discovered Hudson's Bay, to the medieval castle of Palagio, scene of battles between the Florentines and Sienese, to the castle of Vicchiomaggio, where director Kenneth Brannaghset the film 'Much ado about nothing', in Greve in Chianti.

Vineyards, castles but also ancient medieval villages characterize the Chianti Classico. And it is precisely among these ancient streets and palaces that you can choose to set your wedding.
In Castellina in Chianti, for example, you can get married in the splendid Sala del Capitano inside the medieval Rocca, which dominates the village and the surrounding hills. In Barberino Tavarnelle, on the other hand, you can choose between the evocative Palazzo Malaspina, in the heart of the village of San Donato in Poggio, one of the most beautiful in Italy, or the delightful chapel of Semifonte, where the ancient rival city of Florence, mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy, once stood.
In Radda in Chianti, instead, it is possible to get married in the Sala del Podestà or under the Loggiato in front of the entrance to the Palazzo Comunale, breathing in centuries of history. Finally, in San Casciano Val di Pesa you can even get married inside the suggestive Niccolini Theater.
