Thermal baths have always been a focal point for those seeking moments of well-being. The hot springs in this area have been known and appreciated since ancient times for the qualities of their waters, which flow in the thick of woods and pine forests. The therapeutic power of the sea also offers unique and relaxing experiences inside a thalassotherapy cave overlooking the beach.

  • Calidario Etruscan Thermal Baths: The historic natural spring of Venturina Terme is a lake, thousands of years old, that harnesses the beneficial effects of the steam and water gushing out at 36°C, with a Thermarium that allows people to experience the ancient Etruscan wellness path.
  • La Cerreta Terme: amid the chestnut and oak forests of Sassetta, there are intimate pools, inspired by Etruscan and Roman architecture, that welcome you with thermal waters at a temperature of 51°C surrounded by nature.
  • Tombolo Talasso Resort: in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, between the sand dunes covered with Mediterranean scrub, there is an exclusive resort containing five heated seawater pools in caves and a variety of healing treatments.

The Etruscan Coast is a true paradise for nature lovers: long sandy beaches, hidden bays and paths winding through wild woods and fragrant pine forests offer endless possibilities for walks, excursions and outdoor activities.

  • Beaches and promontories: a coastline of nearly 90 km, where long free beaches alternate with small inlets, cliffs and promontories overlooking the sea. When looking out at the infinite horizon, the mind opens up, while the salty air regenerates the body and the soul finds its peace.
  • Parks and Nature Reserves: we know for a fact that contact with nature increases the production of endorphins. Thanks to the quantity and extension of its natural areas, this territory is an endless source of well-being, a green lung of Tuscany looking out to sea!
  • Outdoor activities: doing physical activity helps to recover energy and ease your mind. You can choose from a variety of outdoor activities here, all year round: sports in the waves, hiking, biking, horseback riding, birdwatching, gathering wild herbs, nature photography and relaxing picnics.
