The Ardita – Gourmet Itinerary
The Gourmet Itinerary is the shortest route of the Ardita, the ciclostorica (a cycling race with vintage bicycles) of the Alpe di Poti that, with its 30 kilometers of mostly flat roads, allows everyone to discover the beauty of Arezzo and the green territory that surrounds it.
Bike ride after bike ride we will be able to pass by historic places in the city of Arezzo: from Piazza Grande to Piazza della Libertà with the Palazzo del Comune (Town Hall) and the Gothic Cathedral. We then move forward toward Ponte Buriano (Buriano Bridge), the Mona Lisa bridge by Leonardo Da Vinci, Castelluccio, Pieve di Sietina, Capolona, a typical medieval village on the Arno riverbank; Giovi, a small village of Etruscan origin, as far as Chiassa Superiore with its beautiful Romanesque parish church, and Tregozzano to then complete the loop returning to Arezzo.
Riding a vintage bike along roads and routes pratically without difference in elevation, on a white background or bike paths.
A route to ride along with friends to spend a day outdoors practising sports, having fun and enjoying good local food.
