The Ardita – Traditional Itinerary
The Ardita, the Ciclostorica dell'Alpe di Poti, is a must for vintage-style cycling enthusiasts. The traditional itinerary, with its 50 km, is a marked route to discover Arezzo and its fascinating valleys.
From Piazza Grande, through the historic center, to reach, ride after ride, the Nature Reserve of Ponte Buriano and Penna, where we can make a stop to admire the bridge that Leonardo da Vinci immortalized in the background of the Mona Lisa, and then up to the medieval villages of the lower Casentino, such as Capolona and Subbiano, to then arrive at corners that take you back to times gone by such as Giovi, a small village of Etruscan origins, Chiassa Superiore, with its Romanesque parish church or even Antria, immersed in the green hills surrounding Arezzo.
An itinerary dedicated to lovers of the Arezzo landscape, to be rediscovered on two wheels with friends to experience an unforgettable day outdoor, under the banner of sport, good wine and local cuisine.
