Through the woods of the Via dei Legni in Casentino

Short and funny, this loop-shaped trail passes through the location of beautiful Casentino and runs almost all the way on a narrow path that, however, as it is unbelievably flat and shady, turns out to be a genuine enjoyment.

More challenging is the middle section, downhill along the historic route that is the "Via dei Legni", so called because it was the route used to bring the majestic white spruce logs down from the mountain to reach Pratovecchio. Here the trail is very bumpy and requires more attention.
