Among Apennine pastures and breathtaking views of Lunigiana
The hiking-level itinerary includes a ring trail that runs totally through the centuries-old pasture area of the Meadows of Logarghena, still a destination in the summertime for transhumant herds. The trail includes an initial straight section and then completes a short ring near Cima dei Piaggi, among the meadows and dirt roads that cross them.
The presence of a drinking trough, shepherds' shacks and caravans are clues to the possible passage of grazing animals. At the end of the exploration of the area and after enjoying the amazing panorama that sweeps from the Apennine peaks of Mount Marmagna, to the Apuan Alps and the sea, we return to the starting point.
Not to be missed on the way back is a stop to discover the beautiful villages of Rocca Sigillina and Serravalle.
