Aquatrek: Diaterna Pools
Fascinating hike of 7 kilometers in the heart of the Apennines between relaxation and bathing
The Diaterna, a tributary of the Santerno into which it flows near Camaggiore, is a true gem of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines near Firenzuola. Its most striking feature is its blue and clear waters. White limestone boulders, where the colors of the crystal-clear water stand out, rock slabs and imposing cliffs, along with shady and lush forests, all contribute to create a place that smells of the wild Apennines.
We will follow one of the most spectacular sections of the stream in its riverbed through water pools and small waterfalls, gorges, and pebbly beaches. We will stop at the most picturesque spots down to Camaggiore, dedicating ourselves to relaxation and swimming. It will be an exhilarating and heat-relieving experience in an extraordinary environment.
The tour will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2024, starting at 9:30 AM.

Cancellation
and no-show policies
- The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness.
- The excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people (25 people maximum).
