A full sensory experience with la Castagna Leopoldina

A journey into the chestnut groves to learn about the history of the typical chestnut called La Leopoldina, whose name is a tribute to Leopoldo Pietro, known for his agrarian reforms and the monuments of the area dedicated to him, to integrate the history and culture of the territory.

You will understand how we grow and transform our marroni chestnuts through a closed-loop supply chain. Through some illustrations, we will deepen the botanical aspects of the chestnut from the pollination, assisted by the bees present in the chestnut grove, up to the harvest. We will visit our laboratory for processing and to see in detail how marron glaces are produced.

At the end, you can taste our products in the cosy outdoor lounge, surrounded by the green Tuscan hills, for a complete sensory experience.
